How ya guys doing so far? I know some people haven't quite started, but I'm sure you guys'll get it figured out. By the way, the beatings start Sunday if you haven't. >:)[Poll #1817624]

Personally, this mod thinks that the best way to do it would be a masterpost in all the comms. Yeah, it's a little more work for me, but that way it cuts down on all of the massive spamming of the comms. But that's just my opinion, please let me know what yours is.

ALSO. If you want me to beta your fic for you, I need you to let me know by SATURDAY. I can do a very limited number of betas, and I can't get spammed Sunday or Monday about it because I spend those days studying. Plus, I have to make sure my fic is taken care of, too.

Remember, posting is to happen ON 2/14. Please post to your journals or here first, and then upload to other sites. There is no restriction on how long you have to wait to upload elsewhere, it's a one day holiday so go ahead. Just... Up here first, please?

I normally post to the comm I promised the fic to, followed by my fic LJ, the main pairing comm, AO3 and fanfic.net. If you're cross-posting a masterlist, I'm more than happy for you to post wherever you think best.

I already promised you a sanity readthrough - should be finished tomorrow, yay, so it'll be with you by teatime (my time - UK)! I don't mind if you do a full beta read or not, so it's up to you.

i've noticed that they still tend to post story by story, though! however, you're right... at least there's links to all the stories right there in one spot, right?

I mean, I'm already gonna have to a masterpost to G/D to avoid the wrath of Gaby, or I'm pretty sure she'll throw unicorn poop at me or something. So it'd be fairly easy to just go *click click click* and copy paste them, ya know?

Okay, first of all? AHAHAHAHAHA, having the fic ready. *side-eyes Muses*

As for the wrath of Gaby, lemme quickly don my Halloween and Yuletide mod hat. I did the masterpost to G/D only (for Halloween) and hardly anyone posted their fics individually to other comms. G/D is the logical choice, since this is Tibbs stuff. I'm not opposed to spreading the love, just saying that the core audience is in that one comm. ;) Also, there were no masterposts for Yuletide, and funnily enough, hardly anyone posted their stuff in other comms. I personally think a masterpost to G/D only would be more than enough, esp. since the stuff will end up in the newsletter, but again, whatever the majority wants. :)

Speaking as G/D comm owner, I wouldn't flip if people posted their own stuff. It's their decision, after all. :) But if you do a masterpost, I think it'd be nicer for everyone's flist.

Speaking as a newsletter editor, I'd like to thank every deity that Val Day is not on Friday! LOL! That's my day. Poor mrwubbles will have a lot of stuff to do (Tuesdays are usually a lot of work due to spoilers and promo vids and ep discussions) so...I don't envy her. LOL! It'll be easier for her to edit the newsletter if all fics are in one place (masterpost), so that would be good. Posting a masterlist to half a dozen comms would spam people's flist, btw, including the newsletter one.

If you like to have unicorn poop thrown at you, though, I'd be happy to comply. *shifty*

so I am not 100% sure when I am going to be able to post mine. It's not completely done yet but it is getting there. The problem is, with my move to China, internet access is going to be up in the air. I am supposed to have it in my dorm room but it's not set up yet. So I will try to get it in on time but I may be a little late. :(
